Scottish Dobermann Club 21/5/2023 

A privilege to be invited to judge for the first time in the U.K. at this specialty club show, delayed by some years due to the global pandemic. It was a pleasure to judge your dogs and the handling impressed me very much as did the condition of your dogs. Thank you to the exhibitors for their acceptance of my sometimes difficult and close decisions, I was very pleased with my main winners. 

Minor Puppy Dog 

  1. Knecht Little Richard, 8 month black/rust masculine with strong bones. Long pleasing head, top line of muzzle could be straighter hope improves as head matures. Moved free. 
  2. Jojavik Shaken not Stirred, 8 month with balanced front and hind annulation giving very good movement. The eye colour could be darker. 
  3. Dobshangrila Xavi (Imp IKC) 

Puppy Dog 

  1. Cockneyoka Get Over It at Mandareus, 11 month brown strong & masculine with correct long head and parallel planes. Angulation sufficient, front needs to develop. Best Puppy 

Junior Dog 

  1. Aritaur Vulpes, 1 year old black medium size, square profile, correct flat top skull and dark eyes. Moderate angulation, well muscled but the back could be stronger. 

Yearling Dog 

  1. Kriegers Hunky Dory at Malibray JW, strong masculine brown & rust male, excellent fore chest, balanced angulation. Good head with lovely dark eyes. ResCC 
  2. Jarjarjinx It’s in His Kiss, medium size male with balanced angulation giving him very good free movement. Dark expressive eyes. 
  3. Maighreads Ben Nevis. 

Post Graduate Dog 

  1. Ares God of War, medium black male, balanced with strong back. Nice black eyes, little bit loose on the neck 
  2. Kentwone Resolve & Faith, medium size male with very good forechest. A little shy in character.
  3. Otago All American at Jabloch  

Limit Dog 

  1. Jojavik Snowpiercer at Kateamead, medium size male with excellent forechest and balanced angulation. Strong backline held true when moving. 
  1. Knecht Mandek, medium size strong boned male with masculine head and dark eyes. Excellent front & hind angulation but back could be stronger.
  2. Grafmax Oberon at Camperdown JW 

Open Dog 

  1. Jojavik Master Cutler, masculine black/rust with long balanced head. Eyes could be darker. Has excellent front and hind angulation. Long strong neck well set into shoulders. Moved with drive. Excellent condition. CC and Best in Show 
  2. Ch Korifey Vanquish JW, medium size male, lovely head with excellent parallel planes. Balanced angulation and flowing movement. Coat could be shorter. 
  3. NI Lux ch Korifey Ivan Shcex 

Veteran Dog/ Bitch 

  1. Malibray Rhuvaal at Telendu Sh CM VW, black male, square in outline, good head planes and dark eyes. Back could be stronger, moved very well. Best Veteran 

Minor Puppy Bitch 

  1. Knecht Mileena,elegant square female with nice balanced angulation, Best Puppy bitch 
  2. Torcheney Takha, elegant with strong back and moderate angulation. 

Puppy Bitch 

  1. Supetas Smokin’ Hot, medium size female square with strong back and excellent croup 
  2. Amazon She is Adored, elegant with balanced angulation. Topskull not yet flat. Moved freely with long gait. 
  3. Amazon Just Let Me Adore You 

Junior Bitch 

  1. ZZ Dreamgirl v Nobel Line (Imp Nor) elegant square female with long head and beautiful expression. Good angulation and moved freely. 
  2. Skelfide Cersei, medium size with strong head, very good angulation front and hind. Back line could be better. 
  3. Kriegers In Style 

Yearling Bitch 

  1. Lux ch Vivat de Vinko Vendetta for Korifey (Imp Russ), Elegant female with nice long head, dark eyes give nice expression. Moderate angulation. 
  2. Jarjarjinx Mistletoe Kiss, medium size with strong head. Back could be a little stronger, very good angulation front and hind. 
  3. Jojavik Unforgettable 

Post Graduate Bitch 

  1. Manrio Izmir at Trystorme, elegant brown female with pleasant head with parallel planes and very good expression. Balanced angulation and strong back. 
  1. Satinea Fevronia at Telenduu, medium size with strong head. Back could be better. Very good angulation front and hind. 
  2. Tuwos Ms Behavin‘ 

Limit Bitch 

  1. Supetas Pocketful of Love for Sharhyste, elegant female with long parallel head, correct stop, excellent hindquarters, front angulation could be better. 
  1. Diego’s Debbie Harry, medium size stronger type female, strong head with correct parallel planes, excellent forechest and strong back. Coat could be shorter. 
  2. Lamargs the Russian Princess 

Open Bitch 

  1. Jodaseen Cardinal Envy, substantial female with good bone but still elegant, long head with dark almond eyes. Excellent top line, balanced angulation giving beautiful drive and reach. CC and Res Best in Show 
  1. Manrio Galataya, elegant brown female with excellent top line and balanced angulation, nothing exaggerated and very correct. Res CC
