SHOW RESULTS SDC AUG 2014 CHAMP SHOW 59 ENTRIES – 52 HANDS ON, 6 ABSENT, 1 NFC
CLASS 1 VETERAN DOG - 3 ENTRIES - 1 ABSENT - 2 HANDS ON
1ST DIEGO’S BUMP N GRIND
Very impressive boy, who is presented in first class body, muscle and condition for his age. Pleasing head and expression, moderate length of neck. Firm slightly sloping topline with moderate rear angulation, moving true and honest in profile and on the up and back.
2ND CH/Ir CH ARITAUR TOMAHAWK MARILLIUM ShCM CW11
Another quality male who is of slightly smaller proportions and not holding as clean an outline as 1st. Moved very well in profile showing power and drive, just a little unsettled on the up and back.
CLASS 2 MINOR PUPPY DOG - 4 ENTRIES, 4 HANDS ON
1ST . MIANNA’S WILLIAM WALLACE
Very raw 6 month old, winning a very competitive class, he has allot of potential and quality at this stage of development. Excellent length and arch to neck, good height to length proportions with firm topline, balanced front to rear angulation. Very much a baby on the move which is to be expected and not penalised.
2ND STORMHOLD ELITE WARLORD FOR TOFFERBACH
A more masculine and mature male, strong in the head with slightly looser lips than I prefer that distracted from the overall look of the head. He also has a great deal of promise, he has very good bone, body and substance. Excellent topline and underline with excellent ribbing and short powerfull loin with correct tail set and carriage..
3RD EICK Z PADOKU
4TH LAMARG TOYBOY
CLASS 3 PUPPY DOG - 1 ENTRIES, 1 SEEN , 1 HANDS ON
1ST KORIFEY ONYX BEST PUPPY DOG
Have seen this dog from the ring sided and was not overly impressed, but what a difference it makes to assess him in the ring with his competitors where this young male stands head and shoulders above the other pups including his litter sister who won BPB & RBB, he has almost everything I am looking for and he is very difficult to fault, if I was being hyper critical I would just like a little more bone and substance at this stage of growth.
2ND MIANNA’S WILLIAM WALLACE
As 1st MPD
CLASS 4 VETERAN BITCH – 3 ENTRIES , 2 ABSENT = 1 HANDS ON
1ST . NEARTIC GINNY WEASLEY AT GYLEMUIR ShCM
Standing alone this girl is presented in first class condition and looking at her you would never think she is a veteran. She stands over perfect legs and feet and presents a very good profile outline, with sufficient forechest with good angle and length of croup giving perfect tail set. Very easy ground covering profile action, just a little unsettled on the up and back which gave the male the edge in the veteran challenge.
CLASS 5 MINOR PUPPY BITCH – 6 ENTRIES = 6 HANDS ON
1ST STORMHOLD ELECTRA
Very impressive type and build standing over herself with good balance shape and proportions, with so many breed specific qualities. She very much stood out in all aspects but clinched the class on the move where no other competitors could compete with her,
2ND STORMHOLD ENIGMA AT DIEGO
Loved the head and neck on this bitch and she has the almost perfect profile outline with a perfect topline, on first inspection I thought she would be my class winner, however she really needs to settle and come together on the move in order to take the top spot, can foresee first and second both having very good careers ahead of them.
3RD KRIEGER’S APHRODITE
4TH FIZZY BY THE SEA AT DRONSKI (NAF)
CLASS 6 PUPPY BITCH – 2 ENTRIES, 1 ABSENT= 1HANDS ON
1ST KORIFEY BLACK DIAMOND BEST PUPPY BITCH & RES BEST BITCH
Ultra smart, elegant youngster who completely fills the eye for balance, shape and proportion. She has a very sharp clean out line and moves to perfection in all directions. Especially on the up and back which was perfect. She stands on good legs and feet and has perfect topline and underline symmetry. She just needs to fill into her bone and frame to reach her full potential.
CLASS 7 JUNIOR DOG – 2 ENTRIES, 1 ABSENT = 1 HANDS ON
1ST SATINEA ALONZO
Strong powerfull muzzle and skull, with correct parallel planes into well arched muscular neck. Compact strong power full bone and body. Well ribbed back, firm loin with moderately angulated rear quarters that stand true and parallel. Needs to settle down on the move and use himself to better affect.
CLASS 8 YEARLING DOG – 5 ENTRIES = 5 HANDS ON
1ST SUPETA’S TROUBLEMAKER FOR TOFFERBACH JW
Very much the head type that always appeals to me and gives that instant look of quality and breed type. He has a very well put together front assembly with sufficient development of forechest. Slightly longer cast in back than I find ideal in a male, but this did not detract fom his overall balance. Used himself very well in profile where he displayed powerfull ground covering action.
2ND VONDESTRAM VANTASH
A more refind male in body and bone, allot more compact in body and square in shape with a much steeper underline and topline, good tail set and carriage, using himself very well on the move. Would like to see him again when fully mature.
3RD CADAAK DUNNIE WASSAL ShCM
4TH CADAAK HAUD YER WHEESHT VON COLTREGAN
CLASS 9 NOVICE DOG – 0 ENTRIES, 2 SEEN = 0 HANDS ON
1ST KORIFEY ONYX
2ND LAMARG TOYBOY
A very raw youngster that needs time to come together in body and condition would also benefit from additional ring craft training. Seemed to enjoy his day out and displayed an excellent temperament. Will need to be patient with this one as he will mature a little later than most.
CLASS 10 GRADUATE DOG - 3 ENTRIES, = 3 HANDS ON
1ST ROKPINSCH DAVIDENKO GIFFENBULL
A real look of quality about this boy and in the class I could not keep my eye of him such was his many attributes, he again is a little longer cast in back than ideal, that was not helped by his handler trying to over stretch him at every opportunity. However he excelled in profile movement which in todays competition and performance was enough to give him the edge.
2ND CADAAK CA CANNIE ShCM
A stronger cobbier more compact fuller bodied male with good depth of chest firm topline. Well sprung ribs, short compact loin. Moderate front and rear angulation that complimented each other. Moved at a moderate and settled pace all around.
3RD LAMARG SCOTSMAN
CLASS 11 POST GRADUATE DOG – 2 ENTRIES 2 HANDS ON
1ST MALIBRAY BEST FOR LAST AT JILLANJON
Impressive elegant male with good head piece, eye shape and proportions, into long well arched neck, elbows could be placed closer to brisket. Ribbed back holding a firm topline running in to balanced maderate rear angulation. Well set tail and carriage
2ND MIANNA’S IMPOSSIBLE DREAM
A more elegant looking example of the breed who has allot more length of head, neck, body and leg about him, giving a far more elegant appearance. Tail set and carriage not ideal. Moved well in profile needs to settle in the rear.and reasonable forequarters standing over good length of leg.
CLASS 12 LIMIT DOG – 6 ENTRIES = 6 HANDS ON
1ST FITZKIN HAS IT Jnr CH JD CJW13
Ultra smart male, loved everything about him and thought him the clear winner, he is out of the top drawer and could not be denied his win and in the challenge was very unfortunate to miss out on another day could of easily gone all the way towin top awards.
2ND JOJAVIK PINBALL WIZARD
Another impressive male on the stand who ticks allot of boxes, would just like him to be a fraction more masculine. Where he let himself down was on the move where he was not under control, moving at a pace far too fast that affected the smoothness of his overall movement. With the correct control and maturity has real potential.
3RD KNECHT MAREK
4TH SANT KREAL CERTERO OF SATINEA (Imp Rus)
CLASS 13 OPEN DOG – 4 ENTRIES = 4 HANDS ON
1ST CH ITALO ELITE HOUSE (Imp) BEST DOG
Have seen this impressive powerful male before and he is certainly one that stands out in any line up and has that ability and quality to make you look back again and again. He has a powerful skull and muzzle with correct head planes, eye shape and expression. He powers around the ring on the move eating up the ground with ease. Being critical I would prefer a with a little more front angulation.
2ND CH JOJAVIK MIDNIGHT EXPRESS JW ShCM RES BEST DOG
One I have judged before and done well, often he is moved far too fast and on too long a lead for my preference, however his handler moved him with more control and at a more appropriate pace today which gave a better flow to his movement. I would prefer a little less refinement through his forequarters to balance up with his rear quarters which would just finish off the overall picture.
3RD CH KRIEGER’S THE WIZARD OF OZ JW
4TH COLTREGAN BOSS
CLASS 14 JUNIOR BITCH – 1 ENTRIES, = 1 HANDS ON
1ST JOJAVIK BELLE DE JOUR AVEC DIEGO
Smart looking bitch with pleasing head piece who is just a little bit out at the elbow and wide in front. Clean topline and underline. Goodtail set and carriage into well constructed rear quarters. Moves well in profile and going away.
CLASS 15 YEARLING BITCH – 3 ENTRIES, 2 SEEN, = 4 HANDS ON
1ST AMAZON VALENTINA FOR LYNFRYD’S
Quality example of the breed who stood out in her class, is very moderate throughout in body build, balance and proportions and moves very sound and true in all directions, very much in the running for RBB but did not perform to full advantage in the final run off, one to watch out for in the future
2ND JEUJANN’S SIANNA
Good head proportions with parallel planes, Moderate front and rear angulation that complimented each other but restricted the amount of ground able to cover in profile. Shorter in back which I like, with a slightly steeper tuck up and firm slightly sloping topline.
3RD JOJAVIK CONSTANZIA JW
4TH JOJAVIK BELLE DE JOUR AVEC DIEGO
CLASS 16 NOVICE BITCH – 0 ENTRIES, 6 SEEN = 0 HANDS ON
1ST KORIFEY BLACK DIAMOND
As 1st PB
2ND STORMHOLD ENIGMA AT DIEGO
As 2nd MPB
3RD MIANNA’S FLOWER OF SCOTLAND AT MAIGHREAD
CLASS 17 GRADUATE BITCH – 0 ENTRIES, 1 SEEN = 0 HANDS ON
1ST JOJAVIK BELLE DE JOUR AVEC DIEGO
AS 1ST JB
CLASS 18 POST GRADUATE BITCH – 3 ENTRIES = 3 HANDS ON
1ST JEUJANNS NAZZURRA
Good make and shape in profile, a little more width through the front than ideal which leaves her elbows off the rib cage which when moving gives her an erratic front action, well bodied and ribbed back into very strong powerfull rear quarters and standing on strong well arched feet.
2ND STORMHOLD CAPELLA
Balanced head, good ear set and carriage, moderately angled front assembly, would like slightly more spring to ribbing. Firm strong powerfull topline. Could benefit from a fraction more rear angulation. Not covering as much ground as I would like to see but still a very balanced action.
3RD LAMARG ROCKCHIC
CLASS 19 LIMIT BITCH – 1 ENTRIES, = 1 HANDS ON
1ST CAMPERDOWN CARN AOSDA
Very feminine elegant, pretty head piece and expression, into good length on neck, would prefer more lay back of shoulder and return of upper arm. Long cast through back with fairly long length of loin. Firm topline, strong moderately angled rear quarters with parallel rear pasterns. Very true and honest on the up and back.
CLASS 20 OPEN BITCH – 9 ENTRIES, 2 ABSENT = 7 HANDS ON
1ST Int CH GAINDYKE EUREKA BEST BITCH
As this bitch entered what was without question the strongest class of the day she instantly caught my eye. Having gone over her she did not disappoint in anyway and I would not change a single thing about her. At one point I thought she was going to throw it away on the move due to her over exuberance, but once settled she was a joy to watch. I would have been happy to take her home and was delighted to hear she has had great success both in the UK and on the continent.
2ND CH JOJAVIK POISON IVY JW ShCM
Another class act, slightly larger, taller and longer than 1st and of a slightly differing type, but still so much to admire about her and no doughting her quality. She just missed out in the final challange as I preferred the up and back action of the younger bitch.
