I would like to sincerely thank The Scottish Dobermann Club for inviting me to judge dogs at their 50th Anniversary Championship Show. I would like also to thank all people who have been so helpful and friendly, especially Tracy Feeney, Robert Downie, Scott Wright and Colin Cranston (who picked me up at the airport and showed me the beautiful Edinburgh). The show was well organized and the ring steward was very efficient.
I hope you like the trophy I brought for The Best Male Dobermann.
It was an honour to judge the dobermanns in Scotland. The overall quality is excellent, the heads are better than 2 years ago when I judged in UK. I would like also to thank all the exhibitors for showing their dogs

Big thanks to the committee for a lovely day and making myself and Norman very welcome.
A lovely entry of bitches, a pity some had to go cardless. Heads need to be watched as some of them have no head planes at all which affects the shape and look of the eyes and expression, and the under jaw was lacking in some bitches which affects the placement of the teeth, although they had the correct number of teeth in some instances the teeth were smaller, one or two had missing teeth and I found one with a level bite.
Weak pasterns spoiled a lot of movement on a lot of bitches which affected their place in the lineup, a lot of bitches were lacking in spring of rib and not just that but depth of chest this needs to be of concern because it lacks room for the heart, it also affects the movement by moving wide in front.
