Veteran (4,2)

1st Anderson & Frost's Ch Chancepixies Monopolist - 8 year old black still in excellent condition with square balanced outline, adequate angulation front & rear with steady sound movement. Long head with parallel planes, dark eye & alert expression. Short thick coat & rich rust markings. In agreement with my co-judge BVIS.

2nd Downie's Newtrows Dark Samuri - 9 year old strong boned black, slightly longer in back but with excellent angulation front & rear. Long head, dark expressive eyes, strong convex neck flowing into well laid back shoulders. Just beginning to show his age on the move now. Both dogs in very good overall condition and were a credit to their owners & breeders.

Minor Puppy (10,0)

1st Garland's Evannas Borealis - 8 month medium size black, short & compact. Front & rear angulation excellent and with particularly good width of thigh. Head in proportion to body, dark eyes with alert expression, correct dentition & good depth of muzzle & underjaw. Moved soundly & steadily but lacked purpose & drive. A very promising puppy & with agreement of my co-judge BPIS.

2nd Alney's Memphis Dream Machine - 7 month old black, very mature for his age. Long head with dark expressive eyes & correct dentition. Strong well proportioned body with very well developed forechest. Hind movement not yet settled but I am sure will have a successful show career.

Novice (3,0)

1st Creme's Izralight New Year Dream - Very stylish & compact black. Angulation front & rear very good with well developed forechest, short strong back, correct tailset & correct elegant underline but I would prefer him to be more masculine & narrower in skull. 2nd Woods' Keyalas Dream Machine at Nytbonn - Another brown but with correct dark colour -interestingly they have the same sire. Longer in the back than 1 but very good overall breed type. Excellent front & rear angulation, deep chest down to elbows which are held closely to the body. Long strong head with parallel planes, correct dentition & alert expression. Balanced on the move with a long stride.

3rd Wheatman's Mirdale the Mindbender

Open (14,1)

This was a particularly difficult class with some high quality dogs going unplaced. At this highest level of competition dogs must be in top condition, correct weight & presented to best advantage. There were some unplaced dogs that on another day could be & I am sure will be worthy winners. Thank you to all exhibitors for the opportunity of judging their dogs.

1st Wakefield's Aritaur Heracles at Brintala - Well up to height brown of good coat

colour & rust markings of correct size. Strong boned with short back & deep chest.

Correct angulation front & rear. Very good long head with parallel planes, correct

dentition with large teeth. Eyes of medium colour, correct almond shape & expressive. Neck could be drier but flows into well laid back shoulder. Moved soundly with a long balanced stride. Worthy CC winner & RBIS.

2nd Connolly's Chancepixies Legend - Smart black of medium size. Short hard glossy coat & with well conditioned muscles. Compact & well angulated. Deep chest with well developed forechest. Head could be slightly more masculine but has correct dentition, dark expressive eyes & small neat ears positioned correctly. With sound limbs and tight feet he moved with balance and style. Serious contender for RCC.

3rd Mycroft & Gelderd's Ch Talacre Vysans Boy at Supeta JW.
